GEOMETRIC CREATION OF GOD
New England this time of year is full of snow. I love & miss the cool clean fresh air after a beautiful snow fall.
Remember feeling like a child again full of joy & wonder during the blizzard of 78. Yes many were stuck in the snow, but the 'Horray's !, that rang out when our neighbors car left the parking lot. And what else can we do but have an awesome snow ball fight.
I could just taste the cold wet snow, oh how refreshing (don't eat yellow snow), ask mom. My son Joey and I would create vanilla-water colored snow filled cones and they tasted great!.
ENJOY: See this awesome great creation (geometrically created snowflakes) during this refreshing season.
REMEMBER: To thank God who created & opens the snow chamber for all to enjoy...

NIGHTY NIGHT
Did you all sleep well, after your wonderful Thanksgiving dinner?. This reminds me of the Hymn-'Sweet hour of prayer.
Imagine praying to God from A-Z get to K and visualize thanking God for his 'Kaliedescope Creation' of our earth.
But to really fall into deep sleep thinking of J-Jesus is the best lullaby yet.
And to get to Z takes a lot of Zeal !.
So I'm sending you this little reminder even though we were so sleepy last night..
The other Hymn comes to mind ,'Er you left your room this morning did you think to pray?. Try it don't open your eyes right away and say 'Abba father while personalizing the Lords prayer. This will awaken you each morning refreshed and it does wonders for your soul.
And let us share this because we care, yet without revealing the personal awesome privilege we have with our Holy Lord God in prayer.
Remember: Enjoy Wishful Thinking of God's Blessings

ANGIE
PROVERBS 31:10-31 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good not harm all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still dark, and provides food for her family.
She considers a field and buys it, out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously, her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasp the spindle with her fingers.
She opens her hands to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothe with scarlet.
She makes coverings for her bed; she is dressed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
She is clothe with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many woman do noble things, but you surpass them all.
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

DEAR FAMILY by Camille Bittle...
"You must be worn out, Dorothy -Why don't you go up to your room and lie down? I'll listen for Virgil, " I'm not tired", It wouldn't hurt to rest." How can I rest thought Dorothy wasn't it better to sit with her eyes wide open staring at fimiliar things, than risk the inner visions of her mind....
In the desperate days of depression there was one constant that most people could count on-Family, This was true of the Beanes, who had endured in the past and would certainly do the same now...
When Dorothy Beane's husband, Ed, suddenly loses his job to the Great Depression, the Beanes are forced back to Dorothy's childhood home in Havenhill, Massachusettes, and under the roof of her strong-minded mother. Hard times will work to tear the family apart. Not only will the young couple lose much of their privacy and independence, but Ed must leave their new home in search of work, and the onset of the Second World War will ultimately send their son and daughter far away. Through it all strength, hope, humor, and most of all, family will help the Beanes to survive.
Camille Bittle's marvelous portrait of three generation of a New England family brings to life Depression-era America at a most personal level. In Dear Family she had created a rich and intimate novel about life, loss, memory, and the tides that bind people together in good times and bad.
Review: "A beautifully written book about real human beings who endure real tragedies and rejoice in real triumphs and are always strengthen by a real sense of kinship. In short, Dear Family is a real masterpiece."--Francis Gray Patton, author of Good morning, Miss Dove.

VETERANS DAY-VALEDICTORIAN
"Our country is a great country," said Brewster. "As a people we have pushed our frontiers from the great Atlantic to the wide Pacific. We have more land and better resources than any other country in the world, and yet within this great land of ours thousands go hungry and hundreds are out of work. We cannot sit idly by when there are things we can do. Our great president in Washington is starting up programs that will help all Americans. He is doing what he can for the veterans who fought for this country to try to bring an end to war. He is doing things for young men who have no jobs. We must support him in his work to save this country and its people."
When Brewster finally sat down there was a pause and then hard prolonged applause . Dr. Adams nodded his head. He'd had boys like Brewster in Willow-brook. They were God's bright lights of the future and he felt assured to know God was still on the job
Mr. White to show his approval, nodded at everyone whose eyes he happen to catch. The boy was right. Times were hard. He could use the address as a text for his next sermon. He would start with, "inasmuch as ye do this unto the least of these, you do it unto me," and he drifted off in a happy haze
Credit: Excerpt taken from a fictional novel by Camilla Bittle titled 'Dear Family'.
Can we say the same today? Unless we learn from history we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes & failures. Hopefully not and we may have a heart like Brewster who shared because he cared.
In memory of all the soldiers like Brewster who have given their all for our freedom as Americans....

ELIZABETH LONGFELLOW
Elizabeth Longfellow shared her poetry with me. She's a descendant of Longfellow you see. Every time we meet is a treat, with all the writing she shows to me.
I think she'll write a poem for me about all our family tree. She's the keeper of her parent's history you see...
