OH SAY DOES THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER YET WAVE......

Debbie McLucas comes from a patriotic family-her husband and both her sons served in the U.S.military, and her daughter is currently deployed in Iraq on her second tour of duty as a combat medic.
Arriving at work, she was told by her supervision that there had been multiple complaints and the flag was removed from her office.
She found it rolled up and laying on the floor! That's outreacheous !
Could you imagine how she felt when she saw it lying there, she was speechless.
The lady had displayed the 3foot by 5foot 'American-flag' in the office she shares with 3 other co-workers. A colleague, a woman who immigrated to the United States from Africa l4 years ago, complained to upper management and the hospital decided to remove the flag. She was told the flag flying at the enterance was 'enough'. "It is more than I can even fathom, that you would fine the 'American flag' offensive, in America."
A Healthcare worker didn't return calls for comment. The hospital made a statement that they Honor and are supportive of Vet's and military personnel through their programs and resources (damage control :). They also noted that it was an 'isolated incident' due to the 'size of the flag' and being worked on to resolve amiacably. We've invited the employee to put the flag back up.
"And it will go up and stay up", McLucas said. "I do think they are trying to do the right thing. I have no reason to believe the flag won't remain there as long as I'm employed".

MEMORIAL DAY WISHES & MEMORIES....

Enjoy a good & safe Memorial Day Holiday with your family & friends....
We will be with our son Joe and his wonderful family.
Enjoy and remember: Had a wonderful & memorable 'Memorial Day'.
We went to town early Monday morning and watched the parade. Our grandson Joey took pictures of the Soldiers from WWII and there were three huge American, Californian and MIA Flags and everyone clapped to Honor the Vets.
We heard a sound above us and there were National Guard helicopters the boys were really impressed. The Soldiers gave the boys pencils and I received a pen from one of the soldiers.
From there everyone proceeded to the cemetery, where there was singing of our National Anthem. I got misty eyed when they did the bugle for the Civil War Soldiers.
Our Mayor spoke noting Ferndale Memorial Day is the longest running one in our country that Honor the Vets, and a prayer was led included were the family of our current Iraq war soldiers.
Last they had the tap....three times right in front of us....oh, my heart I couldn't stop crying.

Pray for our Soldiers home and abroad...and their families, too.
Peace with a Purpose...

I BELIEVE .....by Ana :)

EVERYTIME I HEAR A NEWBORN BABY CRY OR TOUCH A LEAF OR SEE THE SKY,
THEN I KNOW WHY I BELIEVE...

AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD...JEREMIAH 28:15

" We live in a land where we can 'CHOOSE' same sex marriage or opposite marriage," Prejean said. " And you know what, I THINK in MY COUNTRY, in MY FAMILY, I THINK that I BELIEVE that MARRIAGE SHOULD BE BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN, NO OFFENSE to anyone
out there, but that's HOW I WAS RAISED.
God Bless America land that I love stand beside her and guide her....When I drove Cross-Country, I saw the beauty of our country, and was in awe at how much God has blessed us with a resourceful land to provide for all our physical needs.
Then I wonder in awe of our spiritual needs and our example in
Christ. Leaving the 'Judging' to God based on the 'Truth that will set us free'.
I like this precious soul believe that we have a unique purpose as ' Ladies of the Lord' to speak ' Our conciencious' and restore
the faith of our ' Father '. Our ' Created purpose'...to be ''One with God and live to honor and serve him in mind, body, soul and spirit. Male and Female he created them in ' His image'....let's be honest no one got here without a male & females pro-creating.
SAVE THE WHALE.....SAVE THE BABIES....SAVE MALE & FEMALE MARRIAGE !

CELEBRITY APPRENTICE (EXHAUSTED TV VIEWING)

We begin watching it towards the end because it drags out on our nerves. I just get so caught up in  the excitement of it all. My husband sits there with this 'let's be reasonable look on his face', it does get ridiculous at times.
I love the craziness of the characters , they crack me up. The ladies on one side the guys on the other, it's amazing how the women all of sudden get so chummy when it comes to trying to out do the guys :) And the guys are clueless until they get together with each other and scheme against the girls....one and a half heads is better than none....ha ha just kidding :)
And that Trump, he's the biggest goof-ball of them all.
He sits at his psuedo 'Boadroom-desk' a smug look on his face looking down on all of them. I love when he squirms his face and saids' 'Your Fired!'....Yeah, right okay on to real-life interest and concerns :)
But it's all so much fun, when your exhausted and need a few laughs at a bunch of clowns in a freak-show circus....ha ha (my ribs hurt:)
Speaking of 'Bring in the Clown', that Joan Rivers is a real trip...she's so oh what's the word 'Plastic!' and her daughter is something else all together. But I was rooting for her, cause Annie got too dramatic towards the end. Although to be honest Joan Rivers did blow it with the decorators. Annie was like shocked....my husband said ' It's a set-up to see how they'd handle the challenge'...hum, maybe true.
Still I'm glad Joan won, why because she proved herself otherwise, that age should not be a stumblingblock and Annie to be honest needed a change of career, but she's to trecherous and in the long run would prove to be to scary for Trumps people. Notice who Trumps elderly partner chose....hum, they all felt  alot more 'safer with Joan'.
I love what Joan's decorators did with the Kodak-Frames that was inviting.
I love that Annie's decorators were so well prepared bringing in more money
Enjoy the challenges for charities, but don't take it to seriously it's just 'Exhausted TV Viewing'.

QUEEN FOR A DAY !

No one said it was easy being a Princess.
Hope you all had a wonderful mother's day. I had a wonderful time with my son 'The Prince' and his family.
The day began cool and cloudy, and I walked to my son's house. When I arrived Isaac our family  black lab had a 'Canvas Bag' loop around his neck. He was jumping up and down to greet me. I usually stand back due to allergies. He was so friendly licking my left hand. My daugther-in love 'The Princess' said 'Isaac has a surprise for you', I looked down and it was a gift from Mendocino!
A large canvas bag with a black & white speckled hen sitting atop the basket printed on it. What a nice surprise :) My son 'The Prince' and grandsons wished me a 'Happy Mothers Day!'.
I hugged my daughter-in love 'The Princess', and told her how much I love her. I said
'Love you, Sweetheart' and she had a big smile on her face.
My son 'The Prince' and I went to his office for Bible class, we spent the time talking about their trip to Mendocino.
We do that sometimes take a 'Count your blessings' break :) He showed me some booklet and gave me some brochures. It all looked and sounded wonderful.
The weather was stormy when they arrived, but it cleared up rapidly. The trip took only 3 hours with a stop at in-loves home:). Their room was really nice, it even was pet-friendly, Lord willing Isaac will be with them on the next trip.
The area was like a Seaport Village quaint and beautiful by the Pacifico Ocean. See how I put in the spanish word 'Pacifico' means 'calm' in spanish :) I was reminded that 'Murder she wrote ' was filmed in Mendicino on the 'Fort Brag' pier area...do you remember? Blair Inn...I saw it on the video of Mendicino we all later watched. The boys enjoyed a 'Petting zoo' and my daughther-in love had a really good time at the Knitting shop, and my son bought the video at a Arbor-shop.
Now for our 'Queen for a day'-mothers day. My son 'The Prince' cooked a wonderful brunch of pasta, sauce, Italian-bread, salad and they baked a gingerbread cake.
My daughter-in love mom & dad joined us for the 'Queen for a Day' brunch.
But let me tell you before the brunch began, my grandson asked 'Can you take me to Mercantile', a local antique store he favors. We went for a walk while my son 'The Prince' cooked and Mercantile's was closed. So I piped up and said 'Let's go to Lenz' ! one of my favorite stores. Okay, we bought Queen-grandma-in love  sewing notions and a card. I saw a lacey-star coaster and my grandson bought it for me :) it is really pretty.
I need to share that this child is very thoughtful, indeed.
We all had a beautiful day. The weather cleared up and the sun came out. After brunch, the ladies visited the Gorgeous Garden the kids have worked so hard on all Spring. And then we all settled down for desert of gingerbread cake and watched the Mendicino video. The ladies also enjoyed looking at a large Monet Garden book.
We all had a wonderful time On Queen for a day-Mothers Day :)
