HOME SCHOOL SWEET HOME

I started Homeschooling our grandsons a couple of weeks ago. We really enjoy having them visit with us a couple of days a week. Being a morning person I'm at the ready, willing and able. However by the time I return home I'm totally wiped out. 

It's no ones fault but my own, because I get totally involved with every projects. 

The set up is a bit cramped, but I hope to add a strong sturdy table and more small items to complement their needs. 

I enjoy reviewing the lessons with each one individually and we laugh when we both come up with the same answer, it's so much fun. 

We snuggle up to read our Spanish lesson and Nana finally gets all the terms to verbs and such. When I was little, I learned to read and write Spanish from the newspaper, but now it's an eye opener with all the new terms. 

With Spring fast approaching we've been able to excersice more and it's refreshing to walk home, snack and then go for a run . 

I enjoy listening to their playing cello, it's relaxing after a long day.

And less we forget half and hour of reading is a joy, too.

REMEMBER: Enjoy your grandchildren while their still young....and then you'll be able to laugh at the future with them.

MELLOW MEMORIES & BLINGEE !

Good Morning Everyone, How are you all doing?

Great I hope :) Here at the 'Our front Porch', we are having a restful quiet classical- music morning.

This cute little pixel I created from 'Blingee' a new site I found through a Homeschooling mom site called

'Gab-oodles Soup', she introduced her readers to it through her art. I think it's really a cool site a break

from Polyvore and a bit more fun, too. The moving images is what is most attractive, don't you agree?

Just relaxing after a busy week with the grand-kids. Our town had a 'Run-day' and everyone put on their

sneaker and took off running. The boys joined their home-school team, it was great fun. The Team T-shirt color was a cranberry red with numbers on them. I asked to save the number-tags, and I'll get the scores soon to save in my grandmother box. I stood at the house to await the mom and runners.

We've been having good weather 'Thank God', for a beautiful fun-filled 'Open-house Day' .

The family cooked 'Veggie-beans and Nana baked 'Corn-bread'. The Fleming's joined in with a 

'Baked-bean dish,too. The coach arrived and bought a large batch of chocolate-chip cookies.

One really special treat was a Guacamole dip and green bean snack chip was delicious.

We all had a wonderful time with Home-school-friends and family.
