Where could I go to find more beauty than in these New England hills? Drifting blue haze over the woods, long light over the tawny fields...Beauty to spare for all my needs. ~Gladys Taber~

~Praise God~ "How many are your works, O Lord! In Wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures." Psalm 104:24....Morning Everyone, Sorry it's been ever sooo long. We've had a hectic summer our landlady visited us in May asking us to give up our apt. due to unforeseen financial changes she was experiencing. We had just received a new refrigerator & light fixtures. Our son's wife family 'In Love's' offered us a bedroom in their home and we've been here since July. It's a really nice & pretty small town in N.Calif. The bedroom is yellow and comfy. We've since been given a black cat. Our neighbor, who had a few kittens became ill and was unable to keep them. Her senior cat Sweetpea came to live with us in August and we love him dearly. He is my answered prayer for a home-less cat. Our Front Porch has come to full fruition when I see him sitting on the Veranda..Lately though he's been crying alot to go outside. He sees one of the kittens poking his paw under the door and it drives him crazy. He starts crying 'OUT'!!!.....
Yesterday, we sat with Sweetpea outside in the sun and he loves the sun, except sometimes he goes out into the middle of the road. He had a wonderful time with me chasing him around. On a sad note he walked up the road two houses up to his old owners house and sat on the grass and went up the steps and stractted the welcome mat....he didn't sit on the bench though (where I'd find him when she was at the hospital). Tomorrow, Lord willing, I hope to take Sweetpea and my husband to the plaza across the street and watch the autumn leaves fall. I heard and saw they are large & leather like....hope it's a Sunny-day.....Lord willing..
