But alas we only knew what was in front of our face. We laughed and sang these songs with all our hearts. Thinking we had all the time in the world to live. Young and impressionable alas how we long for the future so elusive and within our reach. Knowing nothing of the sorrow or pain we'd experience...the forbidden loves of youth. Our minds only thought of what we wanted our parents had lots of patience all the money spent 4 growing girls the sacrifice they made to keep us clothe and the treasures they poured on us. My sister told me the other day, what they didn't leave us in inheritance~they spent it on us during their lifetime...wonderful parents sacrificed it all for the joy of seeing us happy.
