HOME SWEET HOME                                                                                                                 2 Corinthians 5:1-10                                                                                                           Romans 8:23 (NIV) "Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies."                                                                                                                                    As an Inner City-Teen, my Cardiologist recommended camping...I enjoyed roasting marshmallows, hiking, and swimming at Sprout Lake Camp Upstate N.Y. It was a wonderful experience being away from the noisy city streets for 4 weeks in July of 65.  Years later at Gray, Maine's Ganderbrook Christian Camp, with the New England church of Christ ladies, we enjoyed wonderful fellowship, listening to Guest speakers, sharing notes walking thru the woods enjoying the Autumn leaves and breeze. However, being in a Tent & Cabins gets old really quick. After a few weeks of camping-you want to go HOME! Home to our own nice shower & bed. Even though we enjoyed the great outdoors, there is like Dorothy said, 'No Place Like Home!'                                             *The Apostle Paul compares our life here on earth~like living in a tent*...compared to camping there are wonderful blessings we enjoy & appreciate fondly. However, we go thru hard times and we long to be 'Clothed' with our 'Heavenly Home'. ..and to be at home with the Lord. We should make it our Goal to Please the Lord on our journey and eagerly look forward to an eternal home in Heaven, not built by human hands.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         HYMN:  My God and I                                                                                                                                                             Prayer~Abba Heavenly Father, We are ever thankful for the assurance of our Heavenly Home. We trust & Obey Jesus commands, who makes it all possible...In Christ thy will be done, amen.                                                                                                                                                                            CREDIT: *Excepts from Power for Today~March 1999 Grant Standefer-Knoxville, Tennessee*           Free Audio online:  https://www. biblegateway.com/audio/dramatized/niv/2Cor5
