FAITH THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR....BABY LOVE.

A TRIBUTE TO MOM.

Created with our precious mother in our thoughts. My mother-in love a wonderful lady. Whenever she came in the room would light up.
Such a gracious & loving lady. Always at the ready to encourage and lift us up.

Born in Paris, class was her style. Dainty beautiful and sweet to know her was a treat.
I am so very proud to have had her as a blessing in my life, she led me on to be a better wife.
Her words of joy sang in the air, as she hug and kissed everyone to show her care.
No one till this day will take her place. As I reminisce on her lovely face.

Always a whimsical smile she had, as she shared joy with her family that made her glad.
Today is an anniversary of you see, she will always be a favorite angel to me.

Remember: Hug & kiss your mother-in love before God calls her from above.

Enjoy: Every lesson she shares today and bless her soul as precious memories come your way.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY GIRL !

The angels will guide you all the way. And make your new life pleasant every day.
So stop and smell the Lily of the valley and you'll see. Christ love will be with you through-out eternity.

New Mexico Bound.....

They may be possibly staying in a cottage...will keep you posted on housing. Meanwhile, her mom is also downsizing stuff from her attic and wondering why did I ever keep these things? I am just buying my time looking over my shoulder trying not to get to ahead of myself and wait for answered prayers.
The chickens will be left to go to a good sanctuary with others of their kind.
And somewhere a little girl is waiting to be adopted.

Remember: Once the clock starts moving and prayers are answered, it's only a matter of time.

Enjoy: The view- don't stew...I hope they take their angel picture with them to guide the way.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH JOE*BECKY & FAMILY

We shared some good eats and then the ladies and children proceeded to the park while the men rested. The kids had a great time playing basketball with Becky. Then the mother were reminiscing as we knew this maybe our last time together. It's all so sudden, but for the best everyone is going their own way doing their own thing.
The Flemings will go to work at his father's ranch, while Joe & Becky go to New Mexico Christian Childrens Home. The other part of our family is hopefully moving to Texas nearer to Becky's brother in Missouri. I was asked what we would be doing and I said 'Go home and pray'.
We really love this quaint town and all it's amenities it has to offer. Everything is within walking distance. Everyone, who's heard of the kids moving is excited yet will like us miss them terribly.
They have made a wonderful impression for Christ church and will be dearly missed.

Remember: Count your blessings every day before their packed and sent their away.

Enjoy: Your loved ones while it's called today...you'll never know when & how the Lord will call them away.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO WE :)

Our anniversary came on a breezy autumn day.

We had a quiet day with each other. Enjoying a brunch and waited for our son & family to visit in the evening. When they arrived we were given a cute card with two lady-bugs on it. Being they are in the process of packing to move everything was short & sweet.

We reminisced about last year our 25th and how they went all out to give us a wonderful dinner party with the whole family. It was great and we will always cherish their love.

Remember: Family 1st beginninng with our loving spouse.

Enjoy: A quiet Autumn day reminiscing with loved ones.

HONOR TO WHOM HONOR IS DUE

Today we received an email  about the above gentleman. This Veterans name is Shifty.
The story goes he was at an airport and a gentleman stopped to speak with this elderly soldier. On his hat was an Air Force pin. The curious man asked what it was for, and the Veteran proceeded to tell of his flights. With a lump in his throat the man asked if he had been in Normandy, Yes! bright eyed the elderly gentleman told of his lost comrad.
Approaching the plane the man helped the elderly veteran to his seat. Having a first-class seat the man asked the stewardess to exchange with to honor the Veteran. The elderly gentleman spoke, it's Okay son I know there are not many of us left, but he appreciated the kind gesture.
We pass so many Veteran in our walk in life. Lets give Honor to whom Honor is due.....and that's all I have to say about that , no wait.....that reminded me of Saturday, We went to the Veterans standown in Humboldt County. The Fairgrounds were set up for the big event. There was a big turn-out cars everywhere.
We were asked at the gate if we had knives??? The young soldiers had beepers....My husband had to walk back to the car and return his small key-chain knife. We registered and were asked if we need clothe??? apparently we have a homeless population of Vietnam Vets, it's so sad.
The gentleman in charge gave us a free monogramed T-shirt size Medium, we'll give it to my grandson. Hurrying starving we were told lunch was still being served, but when we got there the lady said 'Lunch is done!' :( That was the look on my face. I saw two pieces of pumpkin piece and jumped saying 'Oh! may we have those'. she smiled 'yes:)'. When we sat down ate it tasted so good. :)
My husband and I walked around to the 'Resource Tables', they had everything you could imagine: Social Security; Haircuts; Housing; etc.
REMEMBER: Honor the Vets whereever they serve.

MEXICO CHILDREN'S MISSION-JULY 2009

Our daughter-in love and grandsons went to Baja, California to a Children's home, and volunteered with their VBS in July.
It was a busy week of Lessons, fun & games. The boys had a great time with children their own age.
A day trip was made to Encenada, Calif. to visit Mexican members of the church. Our grandson said he felt like he was the 'hands & feet of Jesus'. He certainly has the heart of a good christian. And all the children loved our other grandson with hugs & kisses.

The children appreciated & and loved their visit so much....One of the little ones, when played with, kept laughing and saying 'Otra Ves!'in spanish meaning 'Once More!'
The trip was 'Thank You God' safe and enjoyable.
And a certain lady pleasantly was given a gift-plaque reading 'Mi Casa su Casa'.

REMEMBER: Enjoy & pray for all children home & abroad....
