SUNDAY -DOMINGO LORD'S DAY-DIA DE DIOS

She was wide awake as she's up at dawn and was cooking chicken at her stove. I really miss talking with her. She was pleasantly surprised and open her door with a  cheery smile and a twinkle in her eyes. She's a morning person and like me always enjoys good company. We talked of her interest, concerns and woes. A photo album of her family and friends most now long gone was opened with care and the love shared. There are all sorts of angels everywhere. I spotted one with only a gown and halo, it's Trudy's favorite angel-gift as it depicts what she believes with all her heart, she will wear in heaven. Next she shows me her antique-bible....it's large print and marked off, it has tab on the sides for each book. Trudy quotes her favorite Psalm 91 by heart, she told me it's a great comfort to her. At night when I turn off my light, I see 'Trudy's Angel' hanging from my light switch and say a prayer, that God will bless and protect my friend Trudy...she's 84 years old and still continues to believe and hope in God.

BE GOOD STEWARDS OF THE EARTH....

On Earth day and every day we should care for our home-planet.

I'm asking our grandsons to help us with our re-cycle.
Once a week  they grab a shopping bag of carboard & other recyclable items. The are so brave & proud of helping with care of their environment as people pass by looking and smiling. It's a great help for us and the earth.

I am very proud of both of them. How they promptly and willingly  enjoy being good stewards of our planet-home.....I'm glad they are here to enjoy it all with us, too :)

Remember: Upon completion of Creation....God said ' It is very Good ' :)

DELITE IN THE WELL-BEING OF YOUR SERVANT......

I went to our local doctor next door. The weather has been pleasant lately. The doctor was so nice, she reminded me of my sister-inlaw ;) and she listened carefully to my woes.
She was so very considerate, that she gave me two free Advair for my asthma and five refills. I was so thankful, I almost started crying tears of joy :) I also received a nose-spray and extra eye-drops included in the refill :) I ran to the pharmacist and he put it on file...
I believe God answered my prayer and gave me exceedingly abundantly what I ask for ....Thank our good & generous Holy Lord God. Do I hear an amen ? :)
Andy gave me a pack of cotton-white socks, and they are so soft & comfortable....I love how they feel :) Andy is so glad, I decided to take care of my health. I'm sleeping more restfully. Everyone is happy for me. I can come home after a long day without feeling exhausted.
Therefore: my prayers have been answered. God does delite in the well-being of his servants.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood....Thank you, God :)....augustana/Polyvore.com

EVERYONE CALLS HER WINDY

I have a similar rain-jacket and I looked just like this picture running errands around town. I just couldn't catch my breath.
Everyone looked at me like girl go to the doctors. I decided I'm tired of being so frugal with expensive Advair and I've made an appointment with my son's doctor. Thank God the office is right on my block don't even have to cross the street (the Lord will provide-Thank God :)
I missed going for sunny-day walks and taking snap shots with my humble 110 camera of whimsical moments & happenings.
Spent the day with the boys on 'Spring Break' :) We went to the Library and looked at magazines of animals. Joey made me laugh, we were looking at a shark eating lunch...Joey said 'He's smiling Wide !' enjoying a snack break...Oh, my sides hurt from allergies and laughing.
Met a lady, who looked like my sister-inlaw. She spoke to me in Spanish (realy well) I think she thought I was Mexican :) She said 'Que tenga buen dia con sus ninos'='May you have a good day with your children'....I answered ' Oh, Thank You-Gracias/ She was shocked that I spoke 'Proper English'...I love the surprising look on her face :)
She was really nice. Her husband is Mexican and I shared about my 'Mother-tongue' and it was neat the polite acceptance and thoughtful encouragement on her part, I really appreciated it. We spoke together in both English and Spanish, it was great, I needed that boost :)
All in all, the day was nice for my first come out after being so sick.
So never ever give up hope....God knows exactly what we need at the right time. Even on windy-day. God sends joy & excitement & smiling faces our way....
REMEMBER: Enjoy smiling at everyone you pass on the road :) and a well wish may come your way.

WHY SEEK THE LIVING WITH THE DEAD.....

Albeit Easter has passed, but like the early Christians that the Lord added to his church (acts 2:38-47)
We at the church of Christ (who else's would it be) remember Christ Ressurrection every Sunday during the Lord's supper.
Once heard a sermon on this subject in relation to this artistic rendition. From all indications I think it speaks for itself. Just like the Angels at the tombs (you do believe in Angels, don't you) spoke to the first disciple who came responding to the 'first lady' Jesus spoke to upon his resurrection. See our Lord cares for ladies very much.
I am winging this because I've been sick with allergies and haven't been able to post a 'pretty Easter picture'.
But this is the best I can share because I care.
Notice if you look real close the names of religious leaders still in their graves....Yet Christ arose: Our hope & mainstay. The picture keeps wanting to stay at the bottom of this post....hum....strange....wonder why? Look closer and bottom line reads: HE IS RISEN !

DAYDREAMING AND THINKING OF YOU......

Good morning....how are you ?
Welcome Back  :)
Today, I decided to visit an old friend Our Front Porch...
I've been gone for a while and missing our show & tell.
Allergy season is upon us and I've been having asthma too.
With housekeeping and trying to keep up with facebook dailey, I've neglected our old friensd. Therefore,. I decided to invite everyone from facebook  to 'Our Front Porch' hope they took me up on the offer and enjoy our visual vignettes.
Today's story is about how Spring has arrived with all her charm and glory. However, she so fickle not staying in one place to long bringing the pollen and breeze, she's making me sneeze. Her handsome prince looks for the sunshine each morning, but she aludes him. He wanders thru the forest of green golden days, and she filters ahead peering through the maze. Her delight is in watching him persue, through the bright sky of azure blue. While melody of birds sing up ahead. They gently lay down on the snow laden bed. The chambermaid swiftly bring them a drink of luscious orange....as Spring continues to think.....oh, that pretty jar of apple -jam looks so delicious sent on a Holiday from her fairey friend, who's cooking magic is nutricious.
So Lady Spring continue your decision to bring joy to your loved ones for that is your mission. Only remember to rest and keep track of time. Relax, read & knit and your days will surely be sublime.....CREDIT: SPRING & POLYVORE/augustana
