APPLES GALORE

Our Annual Fall Tradition of creating Apple recipes with the boys began yesterday. Davey gave us an apple and I add in one more from our apple-bin. The two large macintosh apples were sliced  and sprinkled with cinnamon spice, brown sugar and small cubes of caramels were added. We then placed the mix in a bowl and microwaved it at 50 percent for 5 min.. We waited patiently as the kitchen air filled with the sweet aroma. Once done they were roasting hot, so at Davey's suggestion, we placed them in the freezer for five short minutes. In no time the deliciously sweet scented mixture was devoured by appreciative cooks.
