One Christmas when I worked at Ames and we lived near R.I.College and the Underground Railroad tiny house within walking distance. Papi surprised me with a small cassette tape of Linda Ronstadt's Canciones de mi Padre' well I was shocked, delighted, and full of Joyful tears as I listen to my favorite 'Dos Albolitos' about two trees that loved each other and caressed other with their branches...it so reminded me of my Papi and Mami (tears, seems I can't write my life stories w/o crying). Anyhow, I use to clean the house listening to it on my cassette tape player...singing out loud in Spanish...Andy would tap my shoulder-smiled and say, 'Ana, we can all hear you. Every Cinco de Mayo I go around singing my Spanish songs. Gracias tu Mama, Abuela y Nuera, Ana Celia de Natal-Badillo/Nieves Lugo, <3 8/25/22AD.
