SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME

Yesterday, God blessed us with the arrival of our four new Rhode Island Red chicks. Gramdma Starla bought them home early Tuesday morning. We were all so excited to see them. They were in a small box. My son & his wife set up a big green plastic box with a small wooden door. It was full of shredded chips. The boys and I walked to the store early in the morning and bought some paper towels for the bottom of the box. A hot light was positioned to keep the chicks warm. The best part was seeing our family dog Isaac's curious look his ear bent as he flipped his head sideway as if to say,'Hey, what is going on here?' . Our daugter-in love hugged him and explained how he must be gentle,so he sat down to watch over them quietly.It was a sight to behold:). Our grandsons were so elated, they wanted to hold the chicks right away. Everyone laughed as these sweet precious babies chriped, sang and played with each other stumbling over the food and water. When Andy arrived  to pick me up, he watched as they slept and snuggled with each other so soft and gentle. My son just smiled and took it all in peacefully :) Thank you Grandma Starla for once again bringing joy into our lives.
