OH SAY DOES THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER YET WAVE......

Debbie McLucas comes from a patriotic family-her husband and both her sons served in the U.S.military, and her daughter is currently deployed in Iraq on her second tour of duty as a combat medic.
Arriving at work, she was told by her supervision that there had been multiple complaints and the flag was removed from her office.
She found it rolled up and laying on the floor! That's outreacheous !
Could you imagine how she felt when she saw it lying there, she was speechless.
The lady had displayed the 3foot by 5foot 'American-flag' in the office she shares with 3 other co-workers. A colleague, a woman who immigrated to the United States from Africa l4 years ago, complained to upper management and the hospital decided to remove the flag. She was told the flag flying at the enterance was 'enough'. "It is more than I can even fathom, that you would fine the 'American flag' offensive, in America."
A Healthcare worker didn't return calls for comment. The hospital made a statement that they Honor and are supportive of Vet's and military personnel through their programs and resources (damage control :). They also noted that it was an 'isolated incident' due to the 'size of the flag' and being worked on to resolve amiacably. We've invited the employee to put the flag back up.
"And it will go up and stay up", McLucas said. "I do think they are trying to do the right thing. I have no reason to believe the flag won't remain there as long as I'm employed".

That is just outrageous! What can possibly be 'offensive' about our country's flag. I often don't agree with our government's policies, but I always love and am loyal to our country and it's symbols. I am pleased to see that the hospital allowed the flag after all. Who ever put the flag on the floor should be ashamed! Tiffiny
